Learn how to teach an authentic yoga class to kids of all grades using movement (asana), meditation, sound and singing, the great stories of the Indian epics as well as relaxation.

Our teacher Lisa Fernandez has over 30 years experience educating children in Brooklyn Public Schools she is called the Peace Principal of PS119 (please look here for Lisa's complete bio http://ps119amersfort.com/lisafernandez-peaceprincipal/ )and she is a certified yoga teacher who teacher weekly classes in the Rockaways, at the public school she serves in Brooklyn and at Jaya Yoga East where she teaches the JAYA Kids class on Thursday afternoons.
